A funny thing happened on the way to Queen Hillary's Coronation today. The "build a bridge" gang that erected a fence between itself and its own constituency ran into a Bernie Sanders posse outside Philadelphia's City Hall.
Almost at Hillary's behest, the statue of William Penn atop Phila. City Hall showers derision upon the crowd of non-elite Dems beneath him.
Penn to Philly: Talk to the hand
Only locals and a few outsiders are privy to the visual joke. At a certain angle in Philadelphia, William Penn's extended hand seems slightly phallic. The joke goes, " William Penn was no fan of Philadelphia even when he lived here"
Today however, he seems delighted to let supporters of Bernie Sanders know how he really feels... or how Hillary paid him to feel anyway.
