Well it’s official, even Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump admits that his entire campaign is a joke that we shouldn’t take seriously.
The presidential candidate continues to face difficult criticism for saying on numerous occasions this past week that President Obama and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton were the founders of ISIS and that they deserve a “Most Valuable Player” award from the terrorist organization.
Instead of just shutting up and staying on topic, he doubled down Thursday night on Twitter saying that it was CNN’s fault for blowing the comments out of proportion. In his numerous statements about Obama Clinton and ISIS he was only being sarcastic.
Ratings challenged @CNN reports so seriously that I call President Obama (and Clinton) "the founder" of ISIS, & MVP. THEY DON'T GET SARCASM?

I love watching these poor, pathetic people (pundits) on television working so hard and so seriously to try and figure me out. They can't!

In Olympic terms, this latest idiotic excuses he has come up with to defend another moronic comments, would probably win a medal. Maybe not a gold medal - that still belongs to his “groveling” excuse for mocking a disabled reporter – but I would definitely award it a silver or bronze.
This is a presidential campaigns during one of the most uncertain economic times in recent history and voters deserve a candidate who does not continually act like a petulant child.
Trump does a disservice to voters when he doesn’t clearly mean what he says and uses innuendos to make his point. I think former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich surmised the problem the best best on Fox and Friends when he recommended Trump to be more precise.
In the interview he said: “one of the things that is frustrating about his candidacy is his imprecise language. He uses three words when he needs 10. "I think that he has got to learn to use language that has been thought through and that is clear to everybody and to stick to that language because otherwise the mainstream media is going to take every possible excuse to pile on him."
I don’t support Clinton, but at least when she speaks you know what she is talking about. She presents a clear plan and outlines her policies.
She hasn’t created the same media storm as Trump because she hasn’t said as many stupid things has he as. He would probably do well if he stops with the idiotic off-the-cuff comments.
I don’t think Trump has very many clear policies and the many that he has provided seem only to benefit the wealthy few in this country, but he might be more convincing if he stays on message.
Ultimately, I think Trump is going to lose the election because he can’t stay on message. He is so thin-skinned and has to hit back at every perceived insult and slight. Every time this backfires, he has to come up with another stupid excuse and blame the media for being against him.
This may play well to his ever base but doesn’t work in a general election and it shows. In the latest national survey’s Clinton is winning by 9 percentage polls.
If he wants to turn this around Trump needs to show that he is serious and that begins with the way he talks.
