Julian Assange of WikiLeaks has released a surprise statement on Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. The event was scheduled to be released in London, but due to 'security concerns' (i.e. assassination concerns), Assange requested to release the information via video link in Berlin.

Recap:
Julian Assange did not have much to say about the upcoming presidential election. Instead he used most of the release to self-congratulate on how WikiLeaks has performed and informed the public over the past couple of years. With regards to the hype on Clinton and Trump, after about 10 minutes he told the public:
"There is enormous expectation in the United States. Some of that expectation will be partly answered; but you should understand that if we're going to make a major publication in relation to the United States at a particular hour, we don't do it at 3AM."
Point taken. Assange wants the delivery to have a major impact.
So what did he say?
Assange did say that there would still be big news coming, between now and November 8th (the results of the presidential election). During that time, WikiLeaks would be publishing weekly documents related to Google, arms and the election.
As to his take on Clinton...
“There’s been a lot of misquoting of me and WikiLeaks on this,” he said. “In this case, the notion that I hate Clinton or that I intend to destroy her. All those are false. They come about because here defenders are trying to personalize our publications.”
In the meantime, we'll have to sit back and wait until the elections before something major comes out. Whether it will have an impact or not, we have yet to find out.
What are the peeps saying?
