NBC News/SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll recently surveyed over 30,000 registered voters, of which over 3000 are currently/have previously served in the U.S. military.
Among the group of military and veteran respondents, Trump leads by 19 points – 55% to 36%. Despite Trump’s criticism of the Khan family and his controversial statements regarding Senator John McCain, he seems to confidently secure the support of the U.S. military.
