Many of his proponents note that Donald Trump accepts everyone and does not have any hate in his heart. Well, some of his friends certainly do. The presumptive Republican candidate is once again making negative headlines and this time it’s because of the company he keeps. Trump’s long-term butler Anthony Senecal – and now resident historian at Mar-a-Lago – is in a bit of hot water after he posted a message to his Facebook friends suggesting that Obama should have been shot in his first term. “To all my friends on FB, just a short note to you on our pus headed "president" !!!! This character who I refer to as zero (0) should have been taken out by our military and shot as an enemy agent in his first term !!!!! Instead he still remains in office doing everything he can to gut the America we all know and love !!!!! Now comes Donald J Trump to put an end to the corruption in government !!!! [sic],” he wrote in the post. According to the Mother Jones article, Senecal 84, is not shy about taking credit for his hateful comments. “I wrote that. I believe that,” he is quoted as saying in the article. This isn’t the first time that Senecal has spewed his crap on Facebook. In other posts, he has referred to President Obama as a “sleezey bastard [sic],” “filthy muzzi [sic]” and “commie.” This crazy old man was Trump’s butler for 17 years. Yesterday House Speaker Paul Ryan described Trump as an “earnest and genuine” guy. And yet he sure surrounds himself with a lot of hate. Of course, the Trump campaign is trying to distance itself from Senecal telling Mother Jones: "This individual has not worked at Mar-a-Lago for many years." Trump can try to distance himself all he wants but the fact is that this was a close employee and confident for many years and I doubt that Senecal woke up one day after his employment with Trump ended and said “you know what? Now that I’m free, I’m going to turn into a crazy red-neck racist.” The kind of hate that Senecal is vomiting online has been boiling for a long, long time. Also, someone once told me never to trust someone that uses that many exclamation marks!!!! Finally, I want to leave you with the words of George Washington: “Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company.”
