Trump vs. Clinton: How Would the G20 Vote?

I know, I know. This is the U.S. elections, not the rest-of-the-world elections. So why does it matter how other nations feel about the next POTUS?

Wrong.

America’s superpower status makes the results of the upcoming elections crucial to the rest of the world too.

Come November, the American public will have to vote on who they want to represent them on the world stage, and to be entirely honest, both options are disappointing…

But, my personal opinions aside, we need to see how people around the world feel about our country.

Pew Research Center released a report last month that looked at how different nations viewed the U.S. and its president. It appears that the U.S. is still seen ‘favorably’ abroad. (for now...)

“A new Pew Research Center survey conducted in 10 European nations, four major Asia-Pacific countries, Canada and the United States finds that half or more of those polled in 15 of 16 countries express confidence in the American leader,” Pew wrote.

Thanks Obama.

“Although he has not been universally praised by global publics throughout his two terms in office, previous Pew Research Center surveys have found higher international ratings for Obama than for his predecessor, George W. Bush,” Pew said.

“During the Bush era, opposition to U.S. foreign policy and rising anti-Americanism were widespread in many regions of the world, but Obama’s election in November 2008 led to a significant improvement in America’s global image.”

With GOP Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton the nominees for this election cycle, we now have to ask ourselves: how do people abroad feel about the Hill and the Donald?

In a nutshell…no one wants Trump except Russia...
