The "deflategate" fiasco is back on the radar. And some high profile politicians are chanting "leave Tom Brady alone."
Quick recap: In 2015, the NFL accused the New England Patriots (and quarterback Tom Brady) of deflating footballs...aka cheating. This created a whole wave ofTom Brady 'hate.' The NFL gave Brady a four-game suspension, which was then taken away after the NFL players' union appealed on his behalf. Fifteen months later (yesterday), the NFL appealed the appeal and won. So Brady is once again suspended for 4 games.
But, this time around, instead of the NFL players' union, the famed quarterback has got two unusual suspects backing him: Republican frontrunner Donald Trump and Senator Harry Reid?
