London’s busy metropolitan city just made international headlines with the election of its new mayor. Not so much that he competed against the wealthy and well-known Zac Goldsmith, but more so because he represents a minority; he is a Muslim.
With the U.S. amidst its tumultuous political fiasco, people are starting to wonder whether there would be some exchange between Trump and the new elected mayor, Sadiq Khan, or at least comments regarding the Muslim ban to the US. According to Time, Khan mentioned being worried that he will be banned from entering the U.S. if he were to be elected.

Only recently did Trump call for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on". He was referring to the dangers posed by extremist groups like ISIS. With that in mind, newly elected Mayor Khan would like to visit the U.S. before Trump is elected as president.

Trump stated that “There will always be exceptions… If he does a good job and frankly if he does a great job, that would be a terrific thing.”
What are the public’s comments?
Journalist: with London electing a Muslim mayor, is Islamophobia on the decline? Me: have you heard of Donald Trump?

If London's new mayor wanted to visit Trump's USA, would border police ask him if he was Muslim and turn him away? How would that work?

A muslim mayor of London. You can almost hear Donald Trump's hair spinning in horror.

Hey, I've just thought - if London has elected a Muslim mayor, does that mean that Donald Trump will never ever come here again? BONUS!
