Climate Change Is A Joke To Trump Until It Effects His Golf Game

Donald Trump is in hot water as a result of his stance on Global warming (yes the pun was intended). The presumptive Republican Candidate doesn’t believe in global warming, at least until the effects start to threaten his golf courses. And his solution to combat the effects of global warming… yep you guessed it: to build a huuuge sea wall. Flashing across newswires across America is the fact that even after denying the problem of global warming, Trump has applied to the government of Ireland to build a sea wall to protect his coastal golfcourse from rising sea levels. According to the website Political, the hypocrite quoted government studies of rising sea levels, but added that the study didn’t take into account the effects of global warming.  “If the predictions of an increase in sea level rise as a result of global warming prove correct, however, it is likely that there will be a corresponding increase in coastal erosion rates not just in Doughmore Bay but around much of the coastline of Ireland. In our view, it could reasonably be expected that the rate of sea level rise might become twice of that presently occurring … As a result, we would expect the rate of dune recession to increase,.” The statement said.

Now let’s take a look at some of Trump’s comments on global warming:

The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.

Any and all weather events are used by the GLOBAL WARMING HOAXSTERS to justify higher taxes to save our planet! They don't believe it $$$$!

This very expensive GLOBAL WARMING bullshit has got to stop. Our planet is freezing, record low temps, and our GW scientists are stuck in ice

But enough about Trump and his hypocrisy. Global warming is a major issue and we have seen the results as we continue to experience severe drought conditions in many parts of America. Last year California experienced one and it doesn’t look like it is about to end. According to reports the largest reservoir in the U.S. has sunk to a record lows as a result of the drought in the southwest. Lake Mead in Nevada has dropped about 10 feet in three months and is 37% of capacity, according to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The lake was formed after the creation of the Hoover Dam blocked a portion of the Colorado River. The lake provides water to California, Arizona and Nevada. According to the media reports if the water stays at current levels the federal government would institute emergency measures and limit water supplies to Nevada and Arizona. I have a quick message for Trump: Climate change is not a joke and is not a business issues that can be solved with a sea wall. It is a real problem with real consequences and as a presidential candidate it is something I would expect you to take seriously.
