FBI Director Comey answered questions today on the Clinton email investigation.
Quick synopsis:
- When a document is confidential it has a marking on it. Specifically a "C" in parentheses.

- COMEY: "C" in parentheses means CLASSIFIED, CONFIDENTIAL
- MEADOWS: would a person who was senator and Sec of State know that C meant classified?
- COMEY: before this investigation I would have said yes, now im not so sure.- the check cleared or Comey got dumb all of a sudden?
- MEADOWS: Come on, I've only been here a few years and I understand the importance of those markings

Meadows: " You're suggesting that for all those years she had no idea what a classified marking would be?"
Comey: "interesting.. I think she knew the importance, but didnt know what a C in parenthesis is"- that depends on what the definition of IS is?
Meadows: "you are saying that a former Sec of State isnt sophisticated enough to understand that marking? Thats a huge statement."
