Chris Christie’s speech caused a bit of a stir at last night’s Republican convention. He criticized Hillary Clinton on her controversial use of her private email server as well as her foreign policy decisions in recent years.
“She was America’s chief diplomat,” Christie told the crowd. "Look around at the violence and danger in our world today. Every region of the world has been infected with her flawed judgment."
He asked the audience whether Clinton was guilty or not guilty. Many responded by chanting “lock her up, lock her up!” while others waved “Hillary for Prison” signs.
The Hashtag #ChrisChristie soon became a top trending topic on Twitter with many people criticizing him for emulating a “witch hunt trial”.
