The CBS News/New York Times poll released a poll today indicating that Hillary Clinton is just 2 points ahead of Trump in a two-way matchup (46%-44%.) When Libertarian Gary Johnson (#WhatIsAleppo) and Green Party candidate Jill Stein (@DrJillStein) were added into the mix, the Democratic nominee and Trump tied at 42%. Johnson had 8% and Stein had 4%.

Among men, Trump leads with that segment, 50%-39%, while Clinton leads with women, 52%-39%.
Among white registered voters, Trump also leads Clinton, 51%-40%.
However, Clinton had a significant lead with black voters: 89% to Trump’s 6%, despite his recent efforts to obtain more support from the African American community.
The telephone poll was conducted between September 9-13.
