Russia Raises the Stakes

“In Syria, we will have a permanent naval base in Tartus. The corresponding documents have been drafted,” Deputy Defense Minister Nikolai Pankov said at a Federation Council meeting on Monday. “We hope that we will soon ask you to ratify these documents.” Reuters described the move as “further evidence Russia is building up its capabilities in Syria” and “another sign it is digging in for the long haul to help prop up President Bashar al-Assad.” -10/10/16

We received anonymously what can only be described as information from a deep insider with access to diplomats and possibly middle eastern government persons.

Boeing are way, way into negotiations to sell Iran dozens of new aircraft worth billions.
But can't close the deal since Iran is still excluded by U.S. law from using the U.S. financial system
Boeing lobbied for the sanctions removal, for the money, naturally.
Jack Lew, the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, and Barack Obama, the U. S. President seemed to both be stumbling over themselves to help find a way to ultimately get those billions on track to Iran

If Hillary Clinton wants to successfully establish a no-fly zone in Syria, she will have to bomb Russian air defenses. In turn, as Russia has promised, it will shoot down American aircraft that threaten its military presence in Syria. Watch the video again.

Amid souring relations between the United States and Russia over the Syrian conflict, diplomatic ties have been all but severed.
Russia has now moved advanced anti-aircraft weaponry into Syria that it claims will be used to protect its personnel on the ground from air attacks.
Russia says it will not hesitate to shoot down American aircraft if it feels its troops in Syria are threatened.
In response, the United States has said it “maintains the right to self-defense against advanced anti-aircraft systems sent to Syria by Moscow.”
