House Republicans on Thursday released the text of their long-awaited tax bill, taking a major step forward on one of their main legislative objectives.
The bill, called the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act,” represents House Republicans' effort to rewrite the tax code for the first time in more than 30 years.
