Donald Trump’s first campaign ad of the general election will be airing today. The Trump campaign spent $4 million in television time in four critical states -Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Ohio, according to a Republican source.
The ad starts off with criticizing Hillary Clinton’s immigration policies.
“In Hillary Clinton’s America, the system stays rigged against Americas,” the narrator says.
“Syrian refugees flood in. Illegal immigrants convicted of committing crimes get to stay, collecting Social Security benefits, skipping the line. Our border open, it’s more of the same, but worse.”
The ad emphasizes Trump’s focus on protecting Americans firs by tightening border security.
“Donald Trump’s America is secure,” the narrator continues. "Terrorists and criminals kept out. The border secure, our families safe."
Trump’s main focus is on Florida, where he spent $1.4 million in airtime across six media markets to air through August 29.
